Home Page Ward's Garden Centre was established in 1963 and continues to be an independent family owned and run business, with the emphasis on Quality, Value and Service. Although initially a small specialist heather growing nursery, over the years Ward's has developed into one of the largest and best stocked Garden Centres in the area. We like to think that we offer something for everyone, not just garden enthusiasts. We stock a wide range of trees, shrubs and seasonal plants along with all the essentials such as compost, fertilizers and pest and disease controls, tools and garden ornaments. We also have an excellent Aquatics and Small Pets Accessories Department staffed by experts who are more than happy to share their knowledge with visitors to our centre. Our Gift Department is second to none and we are always on the look out for interesting lines to offer so the products are constantly new and different - never boring! We even offer a range of clothing for adults and a great range of children's novelty raincoats, wellies and brollies that kids will love. So go on, pay us a visit, but remember to leave time for lunch or afternoon tea in our Restaurant - we really are MORE THAN JUST A GARDEN CENTRE!!
